This video is a guide to the practical guidelines for managing any construction project in Florida. The Florida Project Management exam is mostly open-book, so mastering the ability to quickly locate information in your reference books is the most crucial skill for passing. This lesson will introduce you to construction plans, which are the "graphical language of construction," and the various types of drawings, including Civil, Architectural, Structural, and MEP. It will also explain the importance of the title block, legends, and symbols. The lesson uses the case studies of Carlos the GC and Brian the Builder to demonstrate how to interpret plans on different scales, from complex commercial drawings to more targeted residential ones.
